Omni Calculator is a Polish tech company that helps solve real-life problems using science, numbers, and equations, thus making rational decisions. Our main product, the web application omnicalculator.com, contains over 3,600 custom-built calculators co-created by experts in various fields of science. It is visited over 17 million times a month. Media outlets such as The New York Times, National Geographic, The Guardian, and The Washington Post featured our calculators.

Role overview: 

We are looking for a Product Data Analyst who can bring data-driven insight into everything we do and leverage data to aid business decision-making processes. This role involves monitoring key metrics, promptly acting on insights derived from data analysis, producing actionable recommendations, and visualizing data comprehensively for stakeholders. One significant aspect of this role is ensuring that insights are effectively communicated and understood across the organization.

Responsibilities: 

  • Design a data tracking process to ensure that the minimum data set is sufficient to understand user behavior in our platform.
  • Run analytics for the existing product: gather information, analyze users’ behavior, and provide suggestions for changes. 
  • Design A/B Tests to gain insights that support our product development
  • Work with the stakeholders by providing data, calculations, and valuable suggestions to make strategic decisions. 
  • Scope and create an insights infrastructure to support data-informed decision-making.

Our Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst position with high-volume traffic.
  • Experience with web analytics, marketing funnels, and user conversion 
  • Expert knowledge of Google Data Tools (GA4) and Data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau)
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets (business updates, traffic updates) to extract valuable concussions
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Strong understanding of the validation design process
  • Comprehensive knowledge of experimental design principles, statistical analysis, and the ability to draw actionable insights
  • Ability to identify key metrics/data to assess the outcome of new initiatives and product
  • Experience with supporting stakeholders in the data-driven decision-making process.
  • Excellent communication (in English 🙂 and organizational skills.
  • Due to GDPR, you must be located in the EU.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of BigQuery 
  • Understanding of GTM 
  • Experience with large-scale web publishing

Employment terms:

  • Contract type of your choosing – B2B or Contract of Employment
  • The first contract will be signed for six months
  • Salary (monthly): 
  • EURO: 3 050 – 5 170 net B2B or 2 540 – 4 280 gross CoE 
  • PLN (Poland-located employees): 13 000 – 22 000 net B2B or 10 800 – 18 300 gross CoE
  • Work equipment such as a laptop or headphones
  • Flexible working schedule, fully remote or hybrid, with the possibility of working from our office location in Poland: Mikołajska St. in Kraków

Recruitment process:

  • An introduction call with the recruiter where you will learn more about the position (30-40 minutes) 
  • Task to evaluate your data knowledge (this should take around four hours of work. You will have five days to send back your assignment)
  • Task follow-up + role-related interview with our Product Analyst and the Head of Product (90 minutes)
  • Cognitive Ability and Culture Fit Interview with our COO and Head of HR (90 minutes)
  • Finally, we may ask for references from your previous employers.
