Product Designer (UX/UI) at Mito #vacancy #remote

At Mito Digital, our mission is to design and deliver human-centered, world-class digital solutions. For over 10 years, we have been working with companies from all over the world in industries such as telecoms, lottery, e-commerce, and aviation.

Our Design Team is looking to add a Product Designer to its squad who is comfortable navigating user flows, crafting wireframes, and prototyping (with some research and testing on the side), while also creating designs for desktop and mobile. Of course, this means having an eye for aesthetics and a firm grasp of design systems and UI kits.

So far, so good? Keep scrolling, and expect exciting challenges that will require your keen eyes and skilled hands for solutions!

Your tasks will be…

  • Creating web-based solutions and applications from research, through planning and designing, to following up with development.
  • Defining and communicating visions clearly so that they can actually be realized. Not just within our team, but also to our clients.
  • Planning information architecture, interfaces, and interactions while going with the (user) flow.
  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and UIs for all that follows.
  • Analyzing competition and researching best practices. Recognizing worst practices is also appreciated.
  • User testing with a toolbox of methods and tools, mastering the art of when and why to pick the right one.
  • Usability consulting, smoothing the path for graphic designers and developers throughout the project journey.
  • Creating UI designs for further development.

You are the one if you…

  • have at least 3 years of experience as a UX or UI or Product Designer.
  • can create interfaces with ease, but can also think beyond them.
  • have been using Figma for a while now and even enjoy using it.
  • have a handle on or hands-on experience in service/product design.
  • can quickly recognize and understand user needs with your supersensitive empathy radar.
  • are precise and thorough with your work, always fine-tuning it for the smartest solution.
  • bring excellent communication skills (and an extra dose of coffee) to the table.
  • have a minimum intermediate level of Hungarian and English, meaning you can give convincing presentations (and yes, that’s in English).

We’ll be exceptionally happy if you…

  • have pitch-perfect presentation skills.
  • are familiar with frontend technologies.
  • speak German

Benefits

What makes working at Mito unique:

Plenty of challenges. And endless resources to meet them.

  • All four of our business units work on impactful projects throughout the world. Your efforts can and will make a difference in people’s lives, whether they’re booking a plane ticket or want to be delighted by a funny commercial on TV.
  • World-class work requires world-class working conditions. Like a beautiful office in downtown Budapest, MacBooks (if you prefer so), coffee (if you prefer so), fruit (who doesn’t like that), beer, whatever.
  • Hybrid working environment, so you can work from home when you need to, though to keep everything and everyone on track, we do like to meet in person and spend some days at the office.
  • Our Level Up system will reward your professional progress with extra days off every year.

A community

  • Mito has always been a place where the only thing we take seriously is work, so you’ll be able to have fun and meet great people like yourself.
  • From Hackathons to office parties and Easter egg hunting for the kids, we love to spend time together either to get to know each other better or just to…you know. No reason.
  • Dogs are super welcome at the office, and have been ever since Mito’s inception.

The freedom to shape your benefits

  • Whether you’re into individual or team sports, looking for a new set of running shoes, or a gym pass, you can use your flexible personal budget to cover it. You may also use it to improve any of your talents, whether it’s studying German, JavaScript, or how to fix a gas leak. We’ll chip in to take care of your medical expenses, if needed. Additionally, personal budgets can also cover commuting (fancy bike helmet included).
