Who we are:

Omni Calculator is a Polish tech company that helps solve real-life problems using science, numbers, and equations, thus making rational decisions. Our main product, the web application omnicalculator.com, contains over 3600 custom-built calculators co-created by experts in various fields of science. It is visited over 20 million times a month. Media outlets such as The New York Times, National Geographic, The Guardian, and The Washington Post featured our calculators.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Product Team and take ownership of a product area’s strategy and roadmap. You will understand stakeholders’ (internal and external) needs and propose initiatives to address them in the broader context of our strategy and market reality. 

Your agile approach will engage cross-functional teams and drive the refinement of product backlogs, feature prioritization, and iterative enhancements based on experiments and hypothesis validation processes. This role is crucial in shaping our innovative product to meet diverse user needs. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Apply scientific methods to develop and test hypotheses, using quantitative and qualitative data to measure product outcomes.
  • Utilise data to gain insights into end-users’ requirements and devise optimal solutions to meet their needs.
  • Refine and prioritize the product backlog in close partnership with businesses and stakeholders in business change management.
  • Continuously optimize and adjust the backlog based on outcomes, changing priorities, feedback, and business needs.
  • Consistently measure the progress and success of each release. 
  • Convert requirements into detailed user stories with clear and measurable acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with the development team to plan and prioritize features for each iteration or sprint.

Our Requirements:

  • Experience working for a product-based company
  • Strong prioritization skills and result (outcome) oriented approach
  • Proven experience in building and driving experiments to validate assumptions on problem statements, solution designs, or release success tracking
  • Highly data-literate approach with a strong focus on behavior patterns and user data.
  • Ability to formulate and articulate product specifications, oversee the launch, assess its impact, and recommend enhancements.
  • Capability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders, including the founders, assessing and utilizing their expertise as needed 
  • Good understanding of Agile Development and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience in working in multicultural environments
  • Due to GDPR, you must be located in the EU.

Nice to have:

  • Experienced from a startup
  • Experience in an ad revenue-driven, high-traffic publishing business

Employment terms:

  • Contract type of your choosing – B2B or Contract of Employment
  • The first contract will be signed for six months
  • Salary (monthly): 
  • EURO: 2 350 – 4150 net B2B or 2000 – 3 460 gross CoE 
  • PLN (Poland-located employees): 10 000 – 18 000 net B2B or 8 500 – 15 000 gross CoE
  • Work equipment such as a laptop or headphones
  • Flexible working schedule, fully remote or hybrid, with the possibility of working from our office location in Poland: Mikołajska St. in Kraków

  • An introduction call with the recruiter where you will learn more about the position (30-40 mins)
  • Task to evaluate your product development process
  • Follow-up/role-related interview (90 minutes)
  • General interview about your experience (60 minutes)
  • General Cognitive Ability & Leadership Interview (90 minutes)
  • Finally, we may ask for references from your previous employers
