Project Manager with an interest in and focus on the commercial Landlord Refurbishment and Repositioning sector with the ability to pivot into occupier fit out.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Knight Frank are seeking a candidate for the role of Senior PM to assist their London-based Project Management team in managing fit-out, refurbishment and new build projects through their various stages, from establishing a brief, through project team selection, design development and contractor tendering to construction on site.
Project & Building Consultancy undertake a range of projects, both New Build and the modification of existing buildings, with projects varying from 5,000ft2 to 300,000ft2. Whilst the department covers the EMEA region, the majority of its projects are located in Central London, are typically landlord refurbishments and office interior fit outs. The typical project size for the successful candidate will be between 15,000ft2 to 50,000ft2. We are looking for candidates with the drive and ability to grow their experience with our specialist Landlord and Commercial Investor project management team.
The successful candidate will provide key supporting roles with the opportunity to lead asset enhancement projects for our valued client base. They will have strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to analyse project information quickly and efficiently. They will also have:

RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Management of external consultants, including architects and engineers; this will include arranging and preparing meetings and taking minutes for project meetings.
- Administration of construction projects and contracts.
- Preparing Gantt Charts
- Reading and analysing tender documents, both for consultants and construction works
- Writing monthly reports on progress of the project (experience of working with MS Word is essential)
- Compiling comprehensive monthly reports on progress of the project
- In conjunction with other members of Knight Frank’s team, managing the project finances (experience of working with MS Excel is essential).
- Working with the team in terms of marketing and pushing the team forward to further success.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- A BSc/MA degree (in a relevant subject such as Building Surveying, Construction Technology or Architecture)
- A Chartered Surveyor or Project Manager (MRICS or equivalent)
- RICS qualified with experience working in a related field demonstrating a clear understanding of:
- Design Co-Ordination
- Budget Management
- Construction Procurement
- Contract Administration
- Defects Management
