Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Data Engineer to support a large aerospace client. In this role, you will join a digital technology team responsible for building and delivering data products to the military customer. Your day-to-day tasks will involve working with SAP data, including material management, configuration, contractors, and invoice forecasting. You’ll be expected to create data pipelines from scratch using ETL tools like DB2 and Informatica. A background in database development and experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases are essential for success. The team utilizes programming languages such as Python and SQL to build data warehouses and data pipelines. The position is fully remote but operates on the East Coast time zone. Skills and Requirements Experience and background with data warehouse/data lake technologies, including cloud solutions on Azure SQL/Oracle/RDS. Data engineering background and experience in building data pipelines, views, etc. Recent work with data pipeline ETL tools like DB2 and Informatica. Proficiency in Python or SQL. Last few projects worked within an agile/team environment. Plus: Experience with Azure Synapse is preferred. Background and experience in building data products in data mesh environments. Familiarity with working in a DevOps structure is a plus. Compensation: $65/hr to $73/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
