Complete Description: *MUST BE LOCAL TO METRO ATLANTA * *PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT CANDIDATES PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED TO #688672* This position is responsible for developing new and providing system maintenance and enhancements for the Client Special Projects Team. The Special Projects team consists of 6 applications that include the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT), Uniform Accounting System (UAS), Random Moment Sampling System (RMSS), Debt Setoff (DSO) programs, (EAP) Energy Assistance Program, and the New Hire (W-4) systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support and/or project requirements.
- Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business
requirements into formal technical requirements and application code. • Work with IT support teams (ex. DBA’s) to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implemented • Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.
- Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle
- Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing
- Participate in on-call production support
- ssist with the MF conversion to NTTData-AWS
Required Job Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related area
- 10 years of mainframe Development background in design, analysis, and coding: COBOL (CICS and
Batch), JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TSO, CHANGEMAN, AWS
- IT technical background & mainframe programming experience
- Experience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design and
development.
- Experience with NTTData-AWS technologies a plus
