Job Description: Remote Senior Developer needs 2 years of professional development experience including agile engineering practices like sprint planning, retrospectives and demos. Remote Senior Developer requires: A Bachelor’s degree in a Technology-related field such as Computer Science, MIS, Software Development, or similar. Remote but local to Baltimore, MD Minimum 2 years of professional development experience including agile engineering practices like sprint planning, retrospectives and demos. Core programming knowledge (JavaScript, Python etc.) to implement integration logic and a strong fundamental understanding of data structures. Passion for producing clean, error-free code and proactively identifying potential issues. Prior experience with developing in an automated decision engine such as Blaze, PowerCurve, Zoot, or Provenir is a strong plus. Familiarity with Swagger-OAS and/or RAML for API specification is a plus. Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members. Passion for continuous learning and continuous improvement is a must. Remote Senior Developer duties: Meet with credit analysts and data scientists to understand desired business intent and translate functional intent into user stories and testable component designs. Implement credit strategies and rules into an automated decision engine Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that credit strategy implementations align with business needs and target state architecture. Design and develop RESTful APIs and functional tests using various frameworks. Provide research and problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner. Assist in writing technical documentation for our decision engine implementation. Work in agile, rapid development and prototyping environment.
