About the Team:
This team focus on a key area within the Dell Sales Application, DSA. The area is “quote journey”
* Any end-user (Dell Sales Rep) needs to create a quote or draft in order to add a customer, to show an opportunity or product, and to be able to do any pricing
* This journey shows the whole collaborative workflow within the quote/draft
* After the quote is ready to be sent, there is a quote summary that is drafted, it’s evaluated to make sure it’s correct, and then they can move forward to checkout
* This quote journey spans Dell’s entire customer base, their Premier customers, subscription customers, new and legacy customers
* Within DSA, they can add pricing/configuration and send it to the Premier accounts as well
What will the manager be looking for?
How a candidate will stand out is NOT just the key words on a resumethey must clearly outline and articulate what the results and impact of their contributions are to their past roles
Are they able to talk about how they apply their technical skillset in their current job? If you say you’re good at something, make sure you can showcase and concisely communicate your skillset.
The manager is really only looking at the experience in the last 2 jobs, how the candidates adapt technology in their work tasks, how they are you using the technologies, help her understand the exposure that they have gained.
The most important thing is how willing the candidate is to jump into a new role and be a part of the team.
More about the teams tech stack
C# is the main dev language, .NET Core is the platform; not just .NET anymore, all .NET core
All of their APIs are microservices
Front-end is angular 13+
Particularly with Node.js with support schedule
Database – not every team focuses here, They use MongoDB but is not required
The DSA is an intermediate piece/UX layer, so they don’t own much of the data
Majority of the time its coming from the dependency
This is more about being able to connect APIs/microservices
For Front End
They migrate apps from legacy monolithic to the MFE
Functionality from legacy APIs to microservices
