Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure Infrastructure, including Networking, Compute, Storage, and KeyVaults [Other Azure Services] Expert level knowledge of Azure Networking and Network Security (Virtual WAN, vNets, ExpressRoute, VPN, Cisco FTDv firewall, Network Security Groups, DMZ) Expert level understanding of Networking and IP routing (CIDR, subnetting, VLSM, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS) Strong understanding of Azure Security (Entra ID, RBAC, Policies) Serve as an Azure network subject matter expert, recommending and implementing best-practice network architecture in a manner that ensures maximum uptime and security. Deploy, document, and proactively maintain Azure network infrastructure and related technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve critical or escalated technical issues of affected equipment. Help deploy, test, and troubleshoot Azure network services. Troubleshoot issues in Azure cloud environments. Participate in an on-call rotation and be onsite as needed. Take part in the development of technical processes and documentation. Be open to learning new concepts and train other Network Engineers.
