Join our team and work on daily basics with experienced Ruby developers on one of the most popular/biggest payment platforms on implementing new features related to Braintree payment solutions.
Your role in the project:
- Participate in design reviews, offering input on requirements and product design.
- Identify and analyze bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Peer review your colleagues work
- Support the Team in reaching the Sprint goals
- Ready to pair on daily basis
- Readiness to work in an Agile environment.
If you possess…
- Min. 3 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails web development.
- Knowledge of modern Ruby, RoR (incl. ActiveJob) and RSpec.
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
- Knowledge of GraphQL is a major plus
- Familiarity with development-aiding tools – Bundler, Rake, Thor etc
- Understanding of code versioning tool Git
- Strong understanding of sync vs async communication and their pros/cons.
- A sense of ownership and responsibility over delivered features.
- Experience with CLI IDEs like Vim is a major plus
- Ability to work independently.
- Good English skills – written and spoken.
