General Description Undertakes intricate (journey-level) Salesforce customization, configuration, and development tasks. Requires a comprehensive grasp of Salesforce architecture and API, involving the analysis of proposed applications and the provision of technical development assistance. Possesses a moderate background in Salesforce SaaS/CRM platform and Salesforce as a platform (PaaS), including Apex, Visualforce pages, and lightning components, along with bug fixing. Proficient in development best practices throughout the deployment cycle and adept at working in sandbox environments. Involved in the planning, scheduling, and assignment of development projects, with potential oversight responsibilities. Works under general supervision with moderate autonomy for initiative and independent judgment. Essential Job Duties Develop processes, diagrams, and flowcharts to represent operations and data flow for applications. Conduct detailed analyses, designs, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for existing and proposed applications. Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce development, configuration, integration, and customization, including fields, objects, and workflows. Communicate and collaborate with technical resources and stakeholders on status, technical issues, and creative solutions. Perform ongoing Salesforce administration and development tasks, supporting configuration tasks and creating accounts/profiles, defining fields, updating layouts, reports, and dashboards. Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices and business needs. Implement improvements and new functionality in the SFDC application, including exports and reporting information. Collaborate with data visualization tools like Tableau, Microsoft BI, or similar tools. Provide support and solutions for break/fix issues, ensuring adherence to security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies. Create and maintain a library of designed/developed campaign templates. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to engage with internal customers, troubleshoot bugs, and provide technical support for Salesforce/CRM platforms. Work through development bugs and challenges, consistently generating solutions. Assist in generating or installing systems software, preparing instructions and procedures for implementation. Perform additional related work as assigned, with occasional travel required. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Data Processing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. 2 years of Salesforce systems implementation experience. 2 years of experience building custom APEX and Visualforce solutions. 2 years of experience with Salesforce, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud functional and application design. Total years of experience may have occurred concurrently. Experience and education may substitute for each other on a year-for-year basis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven leadership, prioritization, and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to design and optimize technical systems in support of organizational processes. In-depth understanding of web technologies, including JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, and Ajax. Experience with JavaScript frameworks. Solid understanding of Database technologies, such as SQL and relational database schema design. Experience leading technical requirements gathering and building solutions from those requirements.
