Job Description Job Description SAP Integration Lead/Architect – REMOTE WORK – 55002 We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of SAP Integration Lead/Architec t to work on Remote basis. I ntegration Architect, Technical Lead Position Summary/Overview: The Technical Lead, Integration Architect will be tasked with planning and delivering all activities related to supporting the integrations between MCK PLM systems with SAP ECC and a few other systems for a PLM system Technical Upgrade Project. This role is pivotal in meeting the organization’s business requirements, with a primary focus on connecting PLM software applications such as with SAP ECC and other systems via middleware such as PI/PO, SeeBurger, BPM etc. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining an application integration architecture blueprint for the project. He/She should have extensive experience working on various end to end integrations. Key Responsibilities: This person will be reporting to the IT Lead PLM. Extensive experience migrating legacy PLM and R&D applications along with the corresponding integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. Expert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering comprehensive solutions that will enable achievement of desired business outcomes. Experience developing detailed Integration/Interface Design Description Documentation outlining the work needed to connect the current integrations to the updated platform, capture the connection end points, data mapping details, data flows, workflows along with a recommendation on the end – end testing strategy for each of the interfaces. Strong working knowledge on multiple SAP ECC integrations using PI/PO, SeeBurger Cloud with downstream PLM and R&D systems, SAP IDOC. Good understanding of Material Master, formula specification, SDS modules in SAP. Ability to work independently with minimal current state documentation and reverse engineer, if needed. Ability to assess new security requirements and determine the changes needed to the existing interfaces or during the applications migration to support the new security requirements. Provide expert advice to project teams on the use of integration technology, data architecture, data transfer mechanisms, modeling, and system architecture, including integration best practices. Ensure adherence to standards through reviews of project work, including detailed technical specifications. Oversee integration resources (internal and external) and provide guidance as needed. Assist with end-to-end interface testing, incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution during testing cycles in Development and QA environments. Communicate project status to various levels of management. Excellent communication skills with experience of interacting and collaborating with diverse group of stakeholders and be the single point of contact for internal IT resources, infrastructure teams, enterprise security as well as the vendor technical resources. Perform all other projects and duties as required or assigned. Education & Experience: A BA/BS degree is preferred, along with 10+ years of relevant work experience and 3 previous references that can demonstrate the required integration architecture skills. Demonstrated, previous experience in defining, documenting, designing, coding, testing, and deploying integrations, customizations, and enhancements primarily using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and other SAP-specific tools such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs. Knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture, and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices is required. Familiarity with common system integration methods and technologies like SOAP, Rest API, webservices etc. Expertise in solution design and development, along with a strong business understanding and project management skills. Experience with complex technical upgrade projects. Experience documenting Interface Design Descriptions, Data Mapping documentation, data flows for the system integrations with upstream and downstream systems. Essential Skills for this Role – Need 10+ Years’ Experience with All: Competency in drafting documents in English. Integration Expertise: Knowledge and experience of various integration methods, patterns, and technologies. They must be familiar with different types of integration, such as application integration, data integration, business process integration, and enterprise integration, with the ability to reverse engineer system connections. Architectural Proficiency: Capable of generating a holistic view of the system and its components and how they interact with each other and external systems. Design Skills: Strong design skills to create effective integration solutions. Development Competence: Proficiency in development is crucial in order to manage resources updating the integration solutions. Testing Acumen: Good understanding of testing methodologies to ensure the effectiveness of the integration solutions and to be able to provide the testing strategy. Implementation Proficiency: They should be able to effectively implement the designed solutions. Documentation Mastery: They should be able to create clear and comprehensive documentation for the integration solutions. Requirements Analysis: They should be able to analyze and understand the requirements of the organization to create effective integration solutions. Deliverables: Integration Strategy for all the end – end integrations involved in the PLM system Technical Upgrade Project. Completed Integration Design Document capturing all integrations, workflows, data flows, connections, data transfer mechanisms ad security requirements.
