What You’ll Do Location: Remotely from United States OR Onsite at our Seattle, Washington office 25% of the time. Reports to: Senior Director of Trust and Security Direct Reports: 0 Partner with the sales teams to provide customers security assurance, including completing RFPs and responding to security questions Coordinate and participate in security assessments and remediation activities Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure security commitments are appropriately implemented Develop, manage, and execute security compliance tools to ensure program effectiveness and compliance with developed standards and requirements Create internal and customer facing documentation, policies, and white papers. Provide expert advice, guidance, and thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders. Interact with security and privacy program managers, product development, and legal teams Assist others in understanding and implementing security policy objectives in ways that are cost effective and align with business objectives Participate in periodic compliance activities, including ISO27001, SOC2 and manage any resulting remediation actions Stay current on regulatory movements, security policy udpates, security industry trends, attack techniques, mitigation techniques, and security technologies by attending conferences, networking with peers, and other educational opportunities What You Bring Ability to work independently and comfortably in a fast-paced environment Minimum 4 years experience in an information security or compliance related role, such as security analyst, auditor, or compliance analyst/engineer Ability to support external customers and stakeholders Strong organizational, leadership, communication and project management skills Demonstrated working knowledge of software engineering fundamentals Strong background in cloud security controls and experience implementing security and security compliance requirements in cloud environments Ability to balance risks in ambiguous and complex situations Effective communication and presentation skills Familiar with generally accepted information security practices, such as ISO 27001, Cloud Security Alliance CCM, NIST 800-53 Willing and capable of undergoing background checks and other personnel security requirements Preferred Requirements: Information security related certifications 1+ years interacting with external customers and stakeholders Experience with the CJIS Security Policy or FedRAMP Experience in an ISO 27001 compliant information security program Understanding of cloud computing technologies Benefits that Benefit You Competitive salary and 401k with employer match Discretionary paid time off Paid parental leave for all Fitness Programs Emotional & Mental Wellness support And yes, we have snacks in our offices Benefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work. The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 96,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 185,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
