Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Marketing) to establish and enforce company-wide security policies. Actively monitor systems for security breaches and intrusions, developing security tools to prevent attacks and maintain network integrity. Proactively assess and address security vulnerabilities in applications and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP). Automate the creation, testing, and remediation of base container images. Promote a security-oriented development and testing culture within the development team through education and knowledge sharing. Conduct routine vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, coordinating external security evaluations. Manage and resolve security incidents, providing guidance on policy and technical security matters. Obtain and maintain relevant security certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2). Requirements 3-7 years of experience in application and cloud infrastructure security. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience in the software industry. Experience with containerization, preferably Docker. Familiarity with security frameworks/standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, CCPA, GDPR, and OWASP. Proficiency in utilizing AWS security services (IAM, WAF, CloudTrail, Shield) and other tools like Snyk, Qualys, OpenMap, Wireshark, and Nmap. Strong understanding of networking, security, and core Internet protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, SSL, distributed networks). Solid software engineering background with expertise in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, etc.). Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
