As a key member of the Healthcare Solutions Automation Team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward by improving clinical workflows and modernizing them for the digital age.
We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for clean code that works to join our team as a Senior Application Developer. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, enhancement, and uptime of infrastructure supporting our customer-facing and internal applications.

WHAT WILL YOUR TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance and ensures high availability by monitoring and tuning systems.
- Mentor junior Developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Perform code reviews, provides constructive feedback, and ensures code quality across the team.
- Implement and manage testing and CI workflows using common tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience in Ruby on Rails.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Elixir, Erlang, and Phoenix framework strongly preferred.
- Expertise in Ruby’s object model.
- Solid understanding of OOP, MVC, ORM, TDD, and REST.
WILL YOU BE REQUIRED TO TRAVEL?
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Typical work-related travel assignments range 1-5 days, and as such overnight, out-of-town stays may be required.

- Typical home office environment.
- Physical Demands: May occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboard, phone, print. Must have the ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
