About the project, The Senior Cloud Engineer specializing in Azure, will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of cloud services and contribute to the overall success of all department and business projects and business as usual activities. A deep understanding of Azure services is required along with strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technology.
Your responsibilities, Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance Azure solutions., Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement best practices for cloud-based applications., Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources., Implement and enforce security measures to protect Azure environments., Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations., Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve performance issues., Optimize Azure resources to ensure cost efficiency., Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance., Document design, implementation, and troubleshooting procedures., Diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure services., Provide support for incidents., Stay current with Azure updates, certifications, and industry trends., Share knowledge with team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
BSc in an IT related field., 5 years of experience as a cloud Engineer, with a focus on Azure., Microsoft Azure Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-700 and AZ-140 are highly desirable., Excellent communication skills., Understands the need for and consistently practices effective teamwork with others., Ability to interact with IT & business personnel on all levels to resolve issues and provide solutions in a timely manner., Capable of organizing, prioritizing and managing assignments and tasks to completion with minimal supervision with keep attention to detail., Ability to maintain a detail-oriented approach while multitasking in a fast- paced environment., Ability to work under and deliver to continual deadline constraints both as a team member and individual contributor., Maintain and manage strong vendor relationships to resolve problems and coordinate the delivery of IT products and services.
Optional, Experience with other cloud platforms., Experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Citrix Cloud and Azure VDI., Other relevant technical certifications.
