The Senior Data Analyst supports Optum Infusion Pharmacy Operations team. This Senior Data Analyst drives growth opportunities for Infusion Operation by leveraging insights to transform the way the business operates in order to meet short and long term financial objectives. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Queries multiple disparate databases using SQL to stitch together pertinent data elements that provide insights on behalf of the business Develops views within Tableau leveraging the data in a fashion that drives quick action Leverages tools like Alteryx to run jobs Mines the data for opportunities and presents finding/recommendations to the business Partners with the business by developing a deep understanding of the data and the story is it telling about the success of the operation Supports internal teams through coaching on internal tools, processes and technology The scope of this data includes referral receipt through to fulfillment of the drug(s) and Infusion via nursing services within the members home. Supports training of business personnel on the use and navigation of the dashboards Partners with internal teams on maintenance and monitoring of the dashboards and reports Supports the migration of reports to new reporting platform You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Business Analytics with experience performance tracking, best practice monitoring/scaling to drive growth opportunities across the entire enterprise 3+ years of experience leading Analysts to deliver results 2+ years using Tableau to develop actionable views (ex. Meaningful Charts and Graphs) via the dashboarding tool; advanced level 2+ years using SQL to run SQL queries on multiple disparate databases stitch together pertinent data elements that provide insights; intermediate level or above 2+ years of experience accessing, manipulating and analyzing large data sets over 2 million rows, using Alteryx, SSIS or similar Experience in interpreting complicated data into usable and reportable insights that help business meet goals Experience of clearly summarizing findings and providing recommendations to Senior Leadership Experience in developing ETL’s (Extract, Transform and Load) to extract detail from disparate databases and loading into central data warehouse Preferred Qualifications: Power BI experience Experience working with PBM or Pharmacy data Analytics experience within Healthcare *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
