In the Sr Data Engineer (SQL) role you will have the opportunity to work in a large modern data stack, actively contributing to our 10tb+ analytics data warehouse. Your stakeholders will primarily be internal Business Analysts and BI Developers. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong business acumen, the ability to ask questions to understand requirements, and the technical skills to implement long-lived models into business-critical data products.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESDesign & implement analyst & product facing models from a wide variety of sources in Snowflake using dbt.Refine technical requirements of data models with product stakeholders.Collaborate with other Data Engineers, including code reviews, peer programming, and mentorship of Entry-level Data Engineers.Maintain and contribute to our codebase using git & CI/CD within Azure DevOps.Effectively manage your individual work items within the team backlog.Apply an analyst mindset to the models you are producing. REQUIRED SKILLS3+ years of hands-on SQL development within a Data Warehouse.3+ years of developer collaboration in git.Experience supporting analysts & business intelligence teams.Git proficiency.Strong business acumen.
