Your Role as Data Quality Assurance Specialist The Data Quality Assurance Specialist works within the Research, Design & Innovation (RDI) group and supports other organizational functions to facilitate the creation, maintenance, and validation of our strategic data assets. This role leads the deployment of program reporting, established data quality practices, works with RDI leadership to implement business rules needed to verify and validate RDI enterprise data. The Data Quality Assurance Specialist uses best practices and tools to analyze and measure data quality and develop action plans to ensure data reliability, completeness, and consistency. The Data Quality Specialist role will support the Data Governance framework in driving governance policies across all data within organizational functions and support compliance with required data standards. Job Responsibilities: Develop project plans, assign tasks, monitor progress, and report on project status to stakeholders. Partner closely with data creators, data stewards, data consumers, and IT to ensure our data is usable, timely, robust, trustworthy, and compliant. This role looks at the end-to-end data flow and lifecycle, from generation/acquisition to deployment and value, to establish enterprise and local data quality dimensions, rules, and indicators. Support enterprise and local data owners, data stewards and SME’s for data standardization, cleansing, and data migration activities. Align Data Quality rules and policies to evolving data landscape and domains. Leverage data quality best practices to design and maintain policies, methodologies, guidelines around data quality, data profiling, data cleansing, including KPI/metrics definitions. Collaborate and support stakeholders responsible to implement relevant data quality rules and policies and ensure those rules and policies are implemented. Evaluate, implement, and manage governance tool(s) to track and manage data quality and compliance, support reconciliation and validation processes. Collaborate with organizational users to identify attributes that require data quality and corresponding organizational rules. Profile data, analyze user requirements, and translate & apply organizational rules to data quality rules. Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives Manage and ensure the quality of data within Salesforce. Develop and implement data quality rules specific to Salesforce data. Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and users to maintain data integrity. Develop and implement frameworks for reporting on program outcomes. Analyze program data to assess the effectiveness and impact of initiatives. Prepare comprehensive outcome reports for stakeholders, highlighting key findings, trends, and areas for improvement. Provide strategic recommendations based on outcome analysis to enhance program performance and achieve organizational goals. What You Bring Education/Certifications/Licenses: Bachelor’s degree required. Related Work Experience: At least fours years of full-time relevant work experience required. Computer/Software Skills: Experience with tools such as Informatica, Colibra, DeeQu, etc. Experience with SQL, Python, Spark, AWS Experience with Salesforce required. Other Skills, Abilities and Requirements: Experience applying data quality principles to deliver high-quality data assets. Experience in data quality and management platforms, query and scripting languages. Experience in identifying and resolving data quality issues. Experience in performing root cause analysis on data quality issues. Experience with data integration and data profiling tools, automation of processes. Experience with data standards and ontologies is a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when needed.
