The successful applicant will provide ownership of and be performing work in FedRAMP or IL-5 type environments, and therefore, must be a U.S. Person (i.e. U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). What You’ll Do As a Senior DevOps Engineer on the Multicloud Defense team which delivers on the promise of cloud-first simplicity with robust cloud security, you’ll be responsible for deploying, testing, monitoring, and maintaining the health of our custom application within a FedRAMP-compliant environment. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud services, security standards, and compliance requirements. Our Mission: Primary Responsibilities: Deploy custom applications to a FedRAMP-certified cloud environment, ensuring all security and compliance protocols are followed Conduct detailed testing to confirm the application is functioning accurately post-deployment, including performance and security testing Continuously monitor the application’s performance, availability, and security, taking proactive measures to maintain optimal operation Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise, coordinating with development teams as needed for issue resolution Ensure application updates and patches are safely and efficiently implemented in accordance with FedRAMP requirements Maintain up-to-date documentation regarding deployment processes, operational procedures, and incident reports Participate in security audits and assist with the remediation of any findings related to the application’s infrastructure Develop and refine operational best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring our customers consistently get high-quality releases Who You’ll Work With You’ll work closely with the compliance team to ensure ongoing FedRAMP authorization is maintained and that all operational activities align with compliance standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the application’s reliability, performance, and security. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows: .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target.
