This hands-on, strategic position demands a solid grasp of hardware development, manufacturing processes, COGS, inventory management, and both short-term and long-term planning.Location:This position offers flexibility with the option to work remotely from anywhere in the US or in a hybrid/onsite capacity at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA.How You’ll Make an Impact:- Lead zero-based annual budgeting and conduct monthly variance/forecasting analyses for our business teams.- Drive financial analysis and craft financial metrics to optimize costs and enhance gross margins.- Deliver insightful management reporting and analytics to senior leadership.- Act as a thought leader and forge close partnerships with business and accounting teams.Desired Qualifications:- 5-10 years of FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Operational Finance experience in a technology company, preferably with exposure to manufacturing operations, supply chain, and logistics.- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, showcasing initiative and the ability to multitask effectively.- Strong communication skills across different functions and levels of the organization.- Deep understanding of the hardware business model and its growth and profitability drivers.- Solid grasp of cost accounting principles.- Proficiency in quantitative and analytical skills.- Experience in Investment Banking or Management Consulting is advantageous.Compensation Range:The annual base salary for this position ranges from $144,500 to $190,000.
