About the project, As Full Stack Web Development Lead you will own projects from start to finish and manage internal and external resources. You will be part of a small team that works with new technology and solves both front-end and back-end challenges to deliver unique user experiences for retail and eCommerce brands. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack; understands web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages as well as web properties and business challenges to manage the development of appropriate solutions., , At dsm-firmenich, being a force for good is not optional. Your responsibilities, Collaborate with development teams and product managers to ideate e-commerce solutions and ensure sites are optimized for business and user experience., Manage website efficiency, troubleshoot software, and ensure data protection compliance., Develop technical documentation, APIs, databases, and applications, ensuring they function well., Work with the creative team and UX/UI designers to update visuals, content, and copy, aligning with mockups., Collaborate with operations, creative, global, brand, data & analytics, and consumer resources to ensure functional requirements are met., Provide technical guidance, review code for security and coding standards, and lead engineering teams with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, inspiring teams and building productive relationships across the organization.
BS or BA degree or equivalent experience in a related field with excellent verbal and written communication skills., 5-7 years full-stack web development experience, 3+ years using web analytics and SEO tools and 3+ managing both internal and external resources., Expert level experience building Shopify App development, Shopify APIs, custom Shopify Themes, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, XML, JSON, SaaS, etc.)., Utilize knowledge of best practices for web development, including coding standards, code reviews, and source control management, along with experience in utilizing design patterns, building frameworks, building custom UI, and optimizing web pages for performance., Experience with Klaviyo, ReCharge, Bazaarvoice, Yotpo, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager a plus., Knowledge of JIRA, Monday.com, or Basecamp a plus.
