We are looking for Senior/Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join Sopra Steria Apps Services team for a client in the aerospace sector.
Mission/activities:
Design and development of the new operating system of an embedded computer using a multi-core and multi-product processor. The product is mission-critical and will go through a certification up to DO-178C software assurance level A (the highest level of impact).
Tech stack:
- Embedded C
- ASM PowerPC
- UNIX
- Python, Shell, GIT, JENKINS, JIRA
- Scrum
- Communication protocols: CAN, AFDX, RS 232, ARINC429, ETHERNET
Must have requirements:
- Min. 5 years of experience in software development
- Tech skills:
-Strong experience in embedded C
-Development experience in certified environment appreciated.
-Real-Time Constraint (latency, WCET)
-Static and dynamic Analysis
-Architecture/Design on Critical Real Time System
-C, ASM PowerPC, UNIX
- Higher education: Min BSc
- Proactivity, flexibility, rigorous approach
- Good interpersonal skills, team spirit, good customer service
- Open-minded and “can-do” attitude and good listening and communication skills
- Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice
- Fluent English (B2/C1)
Nice to have requirements:
- Experience relying on formal methods, including formal languages.
- Experience in automotive or aeronautical industry.
- Experience in Operating System Architecture.
- DevOps tools: Python, Shell, GIT, JENKINS, JIRA.
- Communication protocols: CAN, AFDX, RS 232, ARINC429, ETHERNET.
