Responsibilities: As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Huron, you will lead the development of healthcare analytics products. Your role involves designing efficient ETL processes, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring seamless technology integration within a small, focused team comprised of PHDs, Engineers, Product Managers and Consultants. Collaborating closely with this cross functional team, you will drive innovation and explore advancements to stay at the forefront of technology offerings. Your strategic contributions extend to optimizing development workflows and guiding decisions to enhance overall efficiency both in the team and at client organizations. Measuring the impact of analytics products, you will utilize appropriate tools to showcase value in patient outcomes and client organizational objectives. In summary, your role is instrumental in the strategic development, optimization, and impactful decision-making within the realm of healthcare analytics at Huron. Qualifications Required: U.S. work authorization is required. B.S. degree with a focus in in computer science, information systems, engineering and/or equivalent work experience. 5 + years of relevant software development experience and/or along with leading a project or team. Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, demonstrating expertise in leading the development of analytics products or similar. Proficiency in relational database concepts, with a preference for MySQL. Strong programming skills in Python, R, or equivalent languages. Ability to collaborate effectively in team-based environments with a positive and supportive demeanor. Competence in maintaining data pipelines and databases. Capability for autonomous work as a self-starter. This position can be Full Time remote and located anywhere within the U.S. Potential to travel up to 10% annually. Preferred: Agile development process experience with Scrum preferred. Familiarity with Unix-like operating systems, particularly Linux. Experience designing ETL processes for data transformation. Basic understanding of large-scale data warehousing technologies and tools. Expertise with Cloud Services, preferably AWS. The estimated base salary range for this job is $140,000 – $200,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $161,000 – $250,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
