12645 – Senior Network Security Architect (remote option) – Miami, FL Start Date : ASAP Type: Full-time direct employment with Vitaver Staffing Client Work Setting: Hybrid is typically 3 days/week onsite; remote option for Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL, Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX and Houston, TX Required:
- Availability to work 3 days/week at the Client’s site in Miami, FL(required);
- Experience in architecture and design of complex networks within a large enterprise environment (5+ years);
- Experience in building large-scale cloud network infrastructure end-to-end on industry-leading public-cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP;
- Experience in MS Azure Vnet, Vnet-Peering, Private Link, vWAN, Express Route, Firewall, Load Balancer;
- Experience in deploying the network infrastructure and security appliance in the public cloud using the Terraform Devops tool;
- Experience in AWS Global infrastructure, VPC, S3, EC2, Route 53, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Network Security Group, Transit gateway peering;
- Experience in Network Routing over Cloud, Data Center, and Enterprise;
- Experience in Dynamic Routing Protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP;
- Experience in various network security technologies such as Firewall, IPS, AV, Micro-segmentation, Zero-Day attack, Cloud security group management, and MFA;
- Experience with Hypervisor such as KVM or VMWare;
- CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certification;
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, other advanced science, or engineering field
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Be responsible for all the following, but not limited to AWS Global infrastructure, VPC, S3, EC2, Route 53, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, cloud networking, and network security.
- Be responsible for EXPRESSROUTE, Virtual Network Gateway, Site-to-Site VPN and Point-to-Site VPN connectivity from On-Prem to Azure, VNet-Peering, Private Link, vWAN, Express Route, Firewall, Load Balancer
- Utilize automation platforms and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Deliver Network Design Documents based on the requirements and best practices.
- Provide direction and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations, coordinate network changes, and communicate with impacted stakeholders.
- Act as the highest level of engineering escalation for issues encountered
- Provide system support and troubleshooting expertise as needed for designed solutions;
- 25-50% with shipboard travel likely.
