Software Developer Advisor

HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software

Works closely with both their team, stakeholders, and business owners.

Work with all levels of the organization, from team members to leadership. Interactions may include mentoring/coaching, interviewing, workshop facilitation and training.

Works with Oracle EBS team to ensure all aspects of the modifications/upgrades function as intended.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.

Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience

Required Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years of advanced working skills with Oracle Applications (E-Business Suite) R12 in AR, GL, OM, INV, SLA, WSH and PO modules
  • Oracle Application 12.2.7 upgrade experience
  • 6+ years of expert experience working with a relational database using SQL/PLSQL skills.
  • Significant knowledge and experience in all aspects of enterprise-level analytics, operations, support, and reporting
  • Advanced experience developing and writing requirements according to standard templates including data needs and business rules.
  • Experience with performance tuning to ensure acceptable report execution times, including validation of report SQL.

Preferred Skills:

  • Able to adhere to client development standards and SOX compliance.
  • Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain system documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Java experience a plus
  • Ability to manage development projects from initial conception to production.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools such as VersionOne
  • Knowledge of and experience in an IT Service management System (preferably ServiceNow)

The likely salary range for this position is $106,371 – $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
