Job Description

Wolt is a technology company that makes it incredibly easy to discover and get the best restaurants, grocery stores and other local shops delivered to home or to the office. Our local commerce platform makes it easy for customers to order whatever they need on one app, for merchants to make additional sales, and for couriers to make meaningful earnings flexibly. Wolt was founded in 2014 and joined forces with DoorDash in 2022. Together, Wolt and DoorDash operate in 27 countries today, serving more than 20 million customers. In Hungary, Wolt’s services are available in more than 60 cities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identifying potential partnerships that are a great fit for Wolt in Hungary, negotiating and closing restaurant and retail partnership contracts in order to achieve individual sales targets.

  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with the identified merchants ensuring continued business and partner satisfaction

  • Setting regional targets for the geographical area and observing team performance with the help of the Merchant Sales Team Lead

  • Guiding your team members (subteam of approx. 3-5 people) and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, build development goals in align with recognition of good performance

  • Monitoring sales activity reports through CRM system and internal dashboards

  • Having a deep knowledge and understanding of how Wolt works, what are the new development, what internal rules do we have (e.g. regarding pricing)

  • Having a very close relationship with Onboarding, Marketing and Operation Managers 

  • Conducting interviews, driving outstanding candidate experience through every touch point in the recruiting process

  • Being able to use Excel for standard calculations and has an analytical way of thinking

Qualifications

  • Your background shows great performance and at least 5 years experience in B2B and B2C field sales, business development or sales manager

  • Most importantly, you have hunter sales experience and you love sales! Getting a ‘no’ only makes you more driven towards the ‘yes’

  • Proven track record of successfully managing people

  • Fluent in Hungarian and in English

  • Networking and building relationships is your second-nature

  • Natural “hunter” – if you don’t know the business owner, you will find a way to get the meeting

  • Shy and quiet are not words that describe you

  • Willing to learn
