Company Description

The largest ICT employer in Hungary, Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions (formerly IT-Services Hungary, ITSH) is a subsidiary of the Deutsche Telekom Group. Established in 2006, the company provides a wide portfolio of IT and telecommunications services with more than 5000 employees. ITSH was awarded with the Best in Educational Cooperation prize by HIPA in 2019, acknowledged as one of the most attractive workplaces by PwC Hungary’s independent survey in 2021 and rewarded with the title of the Most Ethical Multinational Company in 2019. The company continuously develops its four sites in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged and is looking for skilled IT professionals to join its team.

Job Description

The “Retail Business Administration” hub has end-to-end responsibility for the complete IT support of the Telekom Shops in Germany. Starting with determining potential Shop locations, designing and equipping the Telekom shops with IT (including retail-specific devices), up to supplying the Telekom shops with Goods, Workforce Management planning and provisioning of sales empoyees.

Our vision is to create the technical basis for the best cross-channel shopping and service experience together with our specialist partners and the digital hubs in the domain. With the applications and IT services we are responsible for, we ensure that stationary retail business and, increasingly, digital sales interfaces can be operated in the best possible way. Through close cooperation with the specialist sites and other digital hubs, we want to leverage synergies across the sales channels in order to achieve greater bundling of channels and thus improve the processes in front of the end customer and make them more innovative. We want to drive forward the digitalization of the retail business and thus support the transformation of PK / PVG.

We are responsible, among other things, for providing the “T-Home Ordering Process” (THOP); through which significant revenue is generated for the company:
This IT system enables Deutsche Telekom’s direct sales, external and internal call centers and B2B partners to access various fixed-line business processes via web front ends and web services.
THOP has been developed in a SCRUM team using agile working methods since 2018.
