Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack
Location: US – Remote
Salary: $115K – $130K
Position Summary:
Are you proficient in Python, PostgreSQL, React, HTML, JavaScript, and AWS? Are you passionate about developing, enhancing, and maintaining system performance for custom software and hardware platforms in the reverse logistics IoT sector? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your software development skills to support new and existing warehouse management and mobile device data-related systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and enhancing software to process data such as cosmetic status, functional status, and repair and refurbishment status from devices returned by carriers. These devices pass through our fully automated triage systems, and you will collaborate with our Engineering and R&D teams to create or improve cutting-edge integrated software and hardware platforms. Your work will focus on automating productivity, stability, and throughput while effectively communicating results to stakeholders. This position is perfect for those who thrive on growth, challenges, connected devices, and robotics.
What you’ll do:
We are agile, and so our days and duties can vary. In this role, you own and are responsible for delivering to your colleagues:
- Develop applications for large-scale use.
- Integrate software components into a fully functional platform
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Tailor and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics
- Work in a cross-functional distributed team environment
What you’ll need:
We come together to deliver for each other and our customers, and we know there are many paths to performing well. We expect you to come up to speed fast and deliver great work without too much guidance. We think it would be hard to do that in this job without specialized education or proven successful experience in:
- BS in Computer Science or a related field with a Master’s in Computer Science a plus
- Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
- Ability to work in a cross-functional distributed team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer/developer with a proven track record of hands-on experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience with Python, Node JS, React JS, and PostgreSQL
- AWS experience is a plus
