POSITION SUMMARY: As a technical leader in your scrum team, you’ll guide and coordinate work while collaborating with other leads, architects, and management. Your role is crucial in advancing our application development capabilities and aligning technology solutions with our integrated service delivery model. Your expertise and dedication to improving patient outcomes are key in executing our digital strategy. You’ll also contribute to defining and implementing our application development roadmap in line with our strategic goals. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Coordinate with product management and engineering leadership to refine software requirements, and set clear objectives. Develop software applications using a range of modern languages and frameworks across the entire application stack. Design and implement data storage solutions using various databases and technologies (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Mongo, Dynamo, GraphQL, etc.). Document the design decisions and system processes comprehensively. Manage application code and documentation in a distributed source control system efficiently. Establish and maintain automation of unit, integration, and functional system tests. Conduct thorough peer reviews of team members’ code and documentation. Configure application infrastructure using configuration as code practices to support a continuous integration, delivery and deployment environment. Analyze potential system faults through exploratory testing methodologies. Assist in replicating production system faults for troubleshooting and resolution. Establish and uphold best practices for the Clearway Health technology team. Research and evaluate new technologies and frameworks. Design and present technological proposals to leadership across various organizational groups. EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. However, relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED : Click or tap here to enter text. EXPERIENCE: 7+ years of experience in software engineering is required. Healthcare industry experience is highly desired. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Mastery in cross-application programming techniques. Proficiency with system operations tools and environments, including Linux/Unix, OS X, and Windows. Strong analytical prowess and problem-solving abilities. Extensive experience in building and integrating with EMRs and pharmacy systems, with a solid grasp of HL7 and FHIR standards. Demonstrated ability to lead development teams effectively, leveraging both internal and external resources. Experience with AWS, microservices, React, and at least one backend framework (c#.net, java/spring, Node.js) is required, coupled with a solid understanding of SDLC methodologies. Knowledge of C#.net, Entity Framework, and MS SQL Server is advantageous. Familiarity with both relational and non-relational (SQL and No-SQL) database concepts. Robust leadership skills demonstrated by successfully managing large-scale application development. Proficiency in agile methodologies, Scrum, and DevOps principles. Knowledge of emerging trends in SaaS, GPT, AI/ML, and other digital healthcare technologies is highly beneficial. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying analytical and clinical concepts. Strong intellectual curiosity to explore new methods and learn outside one’s area of expertise. Experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams and influencing decision-making across various business audiences. Special Working Conditions (On-call, travel, shift, coverage): Occasional travel may be required for on-site meetings. Project timelines, work volume, and production support may require work outside of regular business hours.
