The Software Developer I will work on new and existing projects currently being developed. This role will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix bugs and errors, adapt it to new business requirements to improve performance and user experience. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) as well as working with business partners and business analyst to help plan, design and delivery solution the solve business requirements.
This role will utilize programming languages and software development life-cycle.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Collaborating with management, departments and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications
+ Interpretation specifications to build and implement software solutions.
+ Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements and specifications
+ Testing and deploying programs and applications
+ Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software solutions
+ Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software solutions
+ Ensure solutions have proper documentation and regularly updated
+ Collaborating with fellow developers to solve problems and build solutions as they arise
+ Passionate about staying on top of tech trends especially in cloud, experimenting with and learning new technologies
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or related field preferred
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
2 years of experience in software development required.
Technology certifications in various software development platforms will be considered as experience is the related discipline. Strong communication and organizational skills. Excellent analytical and reporting skills. Previous healthcare experience preferred.
