Job Description
This position is filled in the IoT Digital team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals working on IoT, hyperautomation and data intelligence solution implementation projects.
Project
Your future project will be in the mobility industry. Together with our partners, we are developing intelligent tolling solutions for our customers. We use digital intelligence for a smart service that connects Europe. Using sophisticated technology and our toll box, we are creating a new age of seamless mobility. Our aims is to further develop the currently available services and extend it to further domains. Together with the T-Systems International team members, you will join an international team supporting our customers and providing tolling solutions.
Main tasks
As a java software backend developer:
- You will implement services such as Location Based Services on high product quality standards in a Scrum team.
- You will dig deep into complex problems and implement innovative proposals or solutions.
- You will try out new technologies to constantly improve and expand our wide range of know-how.
- Yo will be part of our cross-functional, international agile teams that will take full operational responsibility for the services that you own (we maintain a strong DevOps culture)
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT
- 3+ years of experience in Java software development
- Strong communication skills and excellent written and verbal communication competences in English language
- Eagerness to continually learn, grow and improve in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and experience in working in agile teams.
- Deep knowledge in software programming experience with Java/Spring Boot
- Some experiences of OpenShift/Kubernetes, stream platform (Kafka) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git, etc.)
- Database knowledge (MongoDB or NoSQL) and Ansible/Prometheus
- Interest in learning how to operate services in AWS
- Collaboration with Jira and Confluence
