YOU As a Builder Platform Software Developer, you will ensure total customer satisfaction is met or exceeded by designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software programming applications. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time) Be an integral part of the application development team, with special emphasis on implementing the business logic and data access layer of application code (TSQL, C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET, etc.). Review, analyze and modify existing proprietary applications to correct errors, improve performance and add new features while exceeding coding standards. (70%) Troubleshoot and fix production issues found by customers and internal consultants, reported by software support team. (10%) Attend Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review and Sprint Retros as part of the Agile Scrum software development lifecycle. (10%) Code reviews, self-learning, and researching new technologies. (10%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technology, information systems or software engineering course of study or have relevant experience. 4+ years developing with MS SQL, C#, and ASP.NET required. Thorough understanding of Microsoft .NET Methodologies: ASP.NET, VB.NET/C#, ADO.NET, TSQL, SOAP and REST Web Services. Fundamental knowledge of knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery and CSS. Knowledge of residential home building practices a plus.
