- Good knowledge and experience (2+ years) in C# or other object-oriented language
- Curiosity and readiness to learn functional programming language APL, our frameworks and other in-house tools
- Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing unit tests and the desire to maintain and develop test automation including their integration into CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding and adherence to XP practices (TDD, pair-programming etc.)
- Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills with focus on business outcome
- Ability to understand clients’ requirements and to translate those into technical solutions
- You are a team player who actively seeks collaboration to always find the optimal solution
- You have a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or similar
- Understanding Lean Agile practices, values and principles is a plus

The mission of the Connectivity Core Product Area is to develop and improve generic toolboxes for customized Connectivity workflows in SimCorp Dimension, our Investment Management Software product as well as to develop standard integration to external vendors such as Bloomberg or SWIFT. To achieve this, we are using a technology stack spanning across products and technologies like .net, Azure, Oracle Queues, WebSphere MQ, XML, XSD, XSLT, JSON, REST and Soap API. The code is mainly based on C# and APL. As a Software Engineer you will be part of our agile scrum team and together with your colleagues you will be responsible for designing and developing connectivity and integration capabilities as well as taking care of quality assurance and maintenance of this area.
