What You’ll Need Current student or candidate for a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related technical discipline Basic understanding programming languages (HTML, Python, C++), object-oriented design and methodology (Java, XML, SQL, Linux) A good problem-solver with a willingness to learn new skills and technologies Possess good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Keen interest and knowledge of the modern social media landscape Ability to work independently to complete individual assignments and drive key processes forward Detail-oriented, able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment What You’ll Do Work collaboratively with a group of experienced and passionate engineers and product team members to build new product features and solutions across the platform Participate in release and post-release activities Participate in team meetings and discussions, sharing your ideas and insights to help drive innovation Assist in developing software, under the direction of the Head of Engineering Work closely with the Product team to identify, document and resolve bugs Manage databases and input relevant information, data, and records Conduct research on social media markets, emerging trends and various tools and services related to our business Prepare deliverables using Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations Complete ad hoc tasks for team members in various departments such as Marketing, Business Development, Human Interface and Design, Product and more Utilize tools such as Slack and Zoom to communicate with multiple teams and stakeholders Company Benefits Remote work environment Biweekly 4-Day work weeks Virtual Happy Hours Culturally diverse, progressive atmosphere Hourly Rate: $18.00 – $24.00.
