CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and the first-choice service partner for top global networking hardware providers, software providers and telecoms. We create proofs-of-concept, help our clients build new products, nurture existing ones and provide services in production environments. The project and the team
The project is about monitoring, maintaining, configuring, deploying, and improving enterprise router software. The system design challenges are mixed with everyday maintenance, refactoring and test automation. The scale of the project allows for the development of engineering skills in multiple dimensions. The product owner and technical leader heads the backlog. Tools and technology won’t limit you in everyday tasks; you will also be a key person when it comes to solution design.

- The team consists of less than 6 people including a technical team leader, engineering manager, and Python, Golang
- The client is based in the US.
We work on multiple interesting projects at the time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.
Your role
As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:
- Development and maintenance of router code using Golang
- Developing automation processes for deployments on the public clouds
- Writing Hashicorp Terraform configurations and modules
- Implementing unit tests
- Translating designs into fully developed Terraform code
- Working with the development team to provide them help in the operations field
- Collaborating with the Customer to improve the existing source code
Do we have a match?
As a Software Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:
- Very good knowledge of automation tools e.g. Terraform, Ansible
- Very good knowledge of one of the programming languages: Go, Python
- Experience managing AWS Cloud environments
- Hands-on experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Good knowledge of Docker
- Good knowledge of English (B2 level)
Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:
- In-depth hands-on knowledge of networking
- Experience in troubleshooting issues across a microservices architecture
- Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
