Role Description The Advanced Integration team is responsible for the end-to-end installation, configuration, integration, commissioning and testing of complex next-generation digital video systems. As an Advanced Integration Solution Architect, you will be part of a highly collaborative team primarily focused on understanding customer requirements and designing end to end solutions combining own products with best of breed, 3rd party components. You will also contribute to multiple phases of the solution’s life cycle, post design, to include deployment, integration and testing. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has a robust appetite for learning, collaborating, and innovating solutions for our customers. As such, strong communication and documentation skills are vital, in addition to a passion for delivering high-quality solutions to some of the largest media companies in the world. Responsibilities Working in a highly collaborative environment as part of a worldwide team Liaising with engineering to translate customer requirements into feature enhancements Validating 3rd Party components for suitability and compatibility in the customer production video ecosystems Occasional travel to customer sites may be required Overnight work may be required, for customer installs and upgrades. Architecting / rearchitecting production systems End to End Solutions Architecting for the entire video ecosystems Expert understanding of video distribution architecture and the devices that create the systems. Desired Skills and Experiences Preferred BS in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience 10+ Years Digital Video experience 10+ Years of Unix/Linux experience 5+ Years of Networking experience 5+ Years of Scripting Good written and spoken communications skills. Expert knowledge of IP Video transport and encoding Product Skills and Experience DCM / vDCM Encoding Multiplexing Aggregation Digital Ad Insertion
