Job Description

  • Plans and participates in the Elaboration of the Architectural Runway for a full the E2E Solution with the Solution and Domain/System Architects and System/TechOps 
  • Establishes and supports definition of Non-functional Requirements and the Architecture Enablers for Security Mgmt to enable the Business Objectives in terms of T2M, Scalability and Business & Software Stability for Fibre Rollout
  • Identify the Backlog Requirements for scrum Teams and shared Teams related to Security Governance Processes e.g. PSA
  • Fosters Built-in Quality for the entire Security Solution
  • Contribute to the Definition, Design, Implementation, Rollout and the Governance of the Architecture Vision of F@ST and Gigabit Program
  • Leading, Communicating and Driving actively the implementation of the Security Architecture related initaitives and EPICs in Alignement with different Stakeholders in the Program (Business Owners, SD; PM/PO, the Scrum Teams, STE/RTE, End Users; OPS )
  • Defining and communicating the Security Architecture Roadmap of Gigabit in alignment with the Enterprise Security Architecture Vision of DT (e.g. Zero Trust)
  • Giving the development scrum teams a clear Description of the Security Architecture Requirements and communicating Best Parctices on how to proceed

Qualifications

  • Excellent expertise and several years of practical experience in network technologies from recognized security manufacturers.
  • In-depth technological knowledge of the production platforms used within Deutsche Telekom (Hyperscalers, Clouds).
  • Profound understanding of network and IP protocols, including common transport protocols ( (m)tls GRPC,
  • Very good knowledge of analysis and consulting methods.
  • Deep industry know-how in the field of deployed technologies, standards, legal frameworks, and innovation trends in the security market.
  • Experience in handling security-related issues in the context of middleware solutions/RESTful APIs.
  • Security-related knowledge in Cloud areas such as containers, microservices, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Experience in security consulting and assessments of IT systems.
  • You have a confident and professional demeanor, are reliable, and work independently, methodically, and creatively.
  • You possess clear, situation-appropriate, and potentially de-escalating communication skills for complex matters to quickly establish a productive common ground in conversations.
  • You master modern leadership skills and methods.
  • You know what to do in the event of a security incident and remain calm and focused. You coordinate various working groups.
  • You have both the assertiveness to enforce security issues in the project context and the ability to find compromise for mutual solutions.
  • Fluent to proficient English and eventually German language skills in both written and spoken forms.
