The Solution Architect/Technical Lead oversees the transformation of business and technical requirements into a documented architecture and design to create an enterprise solution. This position is expected to be full-time. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for overseeing a large complex application to include, but not limited to, software development and deployment; system performance, tuning, and monitoring; and managing patching, upgrades, and maintenance. Responsible for evaluating business needs and developing appropriate technology solutions to include refining business requirements, architecting new applications, and evaluating and enhancing existing applications, architecture, and infrastructure. Streamline workflows by implementing inventive technical solutions. Engage with stakeholders, updating them on IT development processes and costs. Evaluate existing and emerging technologies on a regular basis. Experience/Qualifications: Experience as a Solution Architect for a large, complex software development project. Experienced in Agile SDLC concepts, systems, and procedures. Experience with form workflow management, document ingestion and conversion as well as distributing and protecting documents using Digital Rights Management in both the underlying platform and implementation patterns. Experience as an Adobe professional to guide Adobe professional services in the installation and implementation of the product in AWS. Strong knowledge and understanding of technical solution delivery for Federal Government agencies as well as Program Management skills needed to ensure success. Experience with Federal compensation claims processing systems required. More than ten (10) years of Agile IT development, web architecture, and object-oriented design and development, Java, React, Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, and other similar languages and technologies, and more than five (5) years’ experience with UNIX and database design and development. Kanban, Scrum, or SAFe certifications preferred. Public Trust clearance required.
