The team provides an innovative web technology platform hosted in the cloud and ensures compliances and security features across our websites. You will be part of Amgen’s Global Commercial Operations Digital Technology Innovation (GCO DTI) organization. We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join our dynamic web team and spearhead the development of groundbreaking web solutions. As a software engineer with strong experience in web and API integrations. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with the team members across various groups will be critical in driving our platformā€™s continued success. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to web integration team, encouraging collaboration and driving successful delivery of projects. Serve as a point of contact for technical escalations andwell, issue resolution. Champion and enforce high standards of quality in all aspects of web form development, including code quality, seamless integration, real-time monitoring. Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to ensure smooth and timely completion of integration solutions. Be able to manage workload in a fast-paced engineering team. Innovate, automate and develop new approaches to complex design problems involving web form integration and user interaction, ensuring robust scalability and maintainability of the platform. Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and optimization, recommending changes that enhance overall system performance and user satisfaction. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 3 years of Information Systems experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Information Systems experience OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience Or High school diploma / GED and 12 years Information Systems experience Requirement 1 Preferred Qualifications: Solid understanding of web API set up and integrations. Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python Understanding of Sitecore CMS (or other Enterprise web CMS) and its architecture is a plus Superb communication skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally. Proficiency with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD tools Solid understanding of web technologies such as .NET, JavaScript Node. js, and SQL Prior experience with Mulesoft API is a plus Experience with writing high-quality, maintainable, reusable code Be able to work in a dynamic environment with a customer-centric mindset Possess advanced knowledge of web design patterns and frameworks Practical understanding of Agile / SAFe and Familiarity with Jira for releases notifications is a plus Thrive What you can expect of us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammatesā€™ professional and personal growth and well-being.
