Responsibility:
- Work with team members regarding building, testing, and releasing client functionality.
- Assist Clients in gathering application requirements.
- Participate in and lead daily team activities and ceremonies.
- Quickly ramp up new technologies and client-specific domains.
- Direct Agile technical delivery activities
- Oversee operationalizing, monitoring, and maintaining distributed systems.
- Mentoring co-workers and Jr. DevOps engineers
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree – Preferably in Computer Science or a related field or the equivalent in working experience.
Experience:
- 10+ years working in Cloud Native Architecture.
- 10+ years working with Cloud Technologies such as Azure and or AWS, GCP, Rackspace, etc.
- 5+ years working with Terraform, Chef, Ansible
- Competent with Linux Administration.
- Experience working in Container-Based Technology (e.g., Docker),
- Experience collaborating with designers and back-end developers.
- Experience collaborating with project managers, analysts, etc.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience in an Agile work environment
- Experience working with Linux Security Frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD, Pair Programming, and Test-Driven Development.
- Experience testing Automated Configuration.
Certification a plus: Azure and or AWS
