About The Opportunity
Netrix Global is looking for an Sr Networking Engineer who is responsible for driving the architectural strategy based on client needs. This role will engage with the Engineering teams and well as the client.
Location: Remote US with travel
How You Will Make An Impact
- Design, implement and troubleshoot complex network architectures based on various routing and switching platforms including but not limited to Cisco, Juniper and Arista.
- Design, implement and troubleshoot complex security architectures based on various firewall platforms including but not limited to Cisco FTD and Palo Alto.
- Design and implementation of various SD-WAN solutions based on various platforms including but not limited to Cisco Viptela, Silver Peak, CloudGenix, etc.
- Design, implementation and troubleshooting of data center solutions based various platforms including Cisco Nexus and Arista.
- Technical oversight and mentoring of engineering resources.
- Development of architectural design and implementation blueprints
- Participation in billable client engagements
- Provide mentorship to the team on existing and upcoming project delivery
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership to help identify, grow and develop new team growth and opportunities
- Be an internal & external champion of existing and upcoming technology solutions
- Assist in sales engineering, identifying current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with customers, prospects and other persons able to influence business opportunities
- Prepares architecture documents, demonstrations, and product training sessions as needed
- Will contribute to establishing thought leadership by producing technical blog posts, white papers, and use cases
What You Will Bring To The Table
- Problem Solving, Product Knowledge, Value Selling, Presentation Skills, Verbal and Written Communication, Requirements Analysis, Innovation
- Preferred of 5 plus years of network and security architecture or consulting in a professional service organization
- CCIE or CCNP a big plus
- Experience and desire growing teams and building technical careers
- Experience writing statements of work, proposals, reports and/or business correspondence.
- Experience working with Cisco & Palo Alto Partner Programs
- Provide subject matter expertise and support for Statement of Work development
Technical Requirements
- Experience implementing and integrating Networking solutions in a consulting capacity
- Advanced hands-on experience with various routing/switching platforms including but not limited to Cisco, Juniper, HP, Arista.
- Advanced hands-on experience with various firewall products including but not limited to Cisco ASA, Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, FortiNet, Meraki.
- Hands on experience in the design, implementation and troubleshooting complex enterprise networks and security solutions.
- Hands on experience and working knowledge of SD-WAN architecture including design and implementation based on various SD-WAN platforms.
- Working knowledge of SASE architecture.
- Prior experience with technical oversight and mentoring of engineering resources.
- Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective.
- Ability to build relationships and work with strategic customers and partners.
- Routing, Switching, Firewall, Wireless, SDWAN solutions experience, preferably in Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, Arista, Fortinet
- Working knowledge of VMWare, Storage and Collaboration for infrastructure solutions
- Demonstrated experience in designing solutions based on best practices for large scale LAN/WAN/Wireless deployments
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of design, implementation, migration, and transition of Cisco/Palo Alto solutions from previous versions and/or competitive products
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of SASE and Networking Security
- Demonstrated experience in scripting and automation
