RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce’s client is seeking to hire a remote Senior JavaScript SDET/Automation Engineer to help migrate and build consumer facing high traffic products. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with business and engineering teams to produce requirements that are well documented and clear * Analyze the requirements, devise a test strategy to cover the requirements, develop high-level test scenarios that implement the strategy, elaborate scenarios into detailed test cases * Own the QA process throughout the projects, including end-user requirements, writing and executing automated test cases, monitor testing progress, reporting status, logging defects, track and test defect fixes, collaborate with team members, monitor project progress, in corporate schedule and scope changes, shepherding the product to delivery, played responsible role for quality of product

  • Perform regression testing every week using automation Scripts
  • Worked in Agile software development using SCRUM/Agile methodologies, was part of

sprint planning, estimates, Retro and Demo

  • Play lead role in certifying releases with highest quality
  • Validate product configuration settings on each environment (dev, integration and production)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a Senior QA Engineer or QA Engineer in the IT and Development industry
  • Complete knowledge of software development methodologies and processes
  • Excellent understanding of different types of testing such as Accessibility Testing, Black Box Testing, and Interactive Testing
  • Knowledge of Javascript, SQL, shell scripting and testing fullstack web apps
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and industry’s best QA practices
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and multiple projects
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual
  • Ability to offer excellent customer service
  • Strong experience with API and Service testing

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
