About the role
How You’ll Make an Impact
You’re an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a knack for product development and engineering collaboration. Methodical, analytical, and highly proactive, you excel at transforming ideas into tangible products. Your expertise spans from initial supplier sourcing to the intricate nuances of inventory management. In this role, you will be expected to:
• Lead New Product Development: Conduct in-depth research to identify, vet, and present the most suitable suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability for complex and innovative products.
• Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with engineers and creative teams to guide the development of new products, including technical specifications, packaging, instructions, and other complementary materials.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Foster robust relationships with chosen suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring alignment with our company’s vision and quality standards.
• End-to-End Purchase Order Management: Oversee the purchase order process, ensuring timely and accurate execution from manufacturing to inspection.
• Logistics Oversight: Manage product shipment logistics, ensuring items are tracked, shipments are timely, and potential bottlenecks are proactively addressed.
• Inventory Optimization: Monitor inventory levels meticulously, utilizing data-driven insights to determine reorder points and ensuring stock levels are always optimized.
About you
Your Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years in supply chain management with a focus on product development and engineering collaboration.
• Supplier Sourcing: Demonstrated success in sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management with suppliers for complex products.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving abilities, able to preempt and address challenges swiftly.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, capable of collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and deadlines.
