What we would like to see

  • Proven record (5+ years) of delivery of multiple complex software development projects or products
  • Proven, strong experience in  leading (2+ years)development teams using Agile principles and practices, with the proven ability to mentor, motivate and support the growth of engineers; 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of one of the modern JavaScript frameworks and back-end platforms , or readiness/commitment to master both if you have specialized in back-end or front-end so far; 
  • Truly engineering approach to solving problems. Good theoretical foundations of computer science (e.g. algorithms and computational complexity, OOP) are super practical in the ever-changing landscape of technologies; 
  • Goals and data-driven approach to software product development; 
  • Strong understanding of web applications , including performance , quality , and security aspects; 
  • Excellent understanding of modern Cloud architectures , and practical experience implementing them in either GCP , AWS or Azure
  • Fluent English – verbally and in writing, 
  • Good grasp of SQL and relational databases or BigQuery is a plus 

Job Purpose and Overview

You will work with the team of 7 outstanding full-stack engineers that develop Canned Responses, Chat for JSM and other products in ITSM field for Atlassian and monday.com ecosystems . You will have a major impact on the products’ short- and long-term roadmap, be responsible for technical decisions, career development of the team members and work priorities.
