The Austrian-owned AVL is the world’s largest independent group of companies engaged in the development, simulation and testing of hybrid, internal combustion and electric engines and drivetrains.
The Zalaegerszeg test track is unique, as the traditional test track functions focusing on drivability and driving stability are implemented together with the elements of the research and development infrastructure focusing on the vehicles of the future in the system that enables multi-level validation based on each other. The uniqueness of the test track is that it not only offers the opportunity to carry out traditional vehicle dynamics tests, but also enables validation tests of autonomous (self-driving) vehicles and electric vehicles.
We are looking for a new colleague in Zalaegerszeg, to expand the AVL-ZalaZONE test engineer team, for the following position:
Test Engineer
Place of work: Zalaegerszeg, Hungary
Your responsibilities:

Participate in the operation of the engineering services organisation associated with the test track.

Providing full technical support to business partners.

Participation in the development of systems used in the test track operations and operational processes.

Organise and support the organisation of project related reports and reviews in the technical area.

Representing the company at technical events.

Support the organisation of technical programmes and events.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree (mechanical engineer, mechatronic engineer, vehicle engineer),
- Hungarian is a must,
- Fluent English both oral and writing (German knowledge is an advantage),
- Work experience gained in a similar field is an advantage for you, but you can also apply as a fresh graduate
- MS Office skills, SAP is an advantage,
- Able to handle complexity,
- Fast and precise in actions,
- Multi tasker,
- Team player.
