Job Summary The Threat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating information about current and emerging cyber threats, actors, and campaigns. The analyst will use various sources and methods to identify, assess, and prioritize threats, and provide actionable intelligence and recommendations to other CyberSecurity teams as well as stakeholders throughout the broader Compass organization. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Manager of Threat Intelligence to develop and implement a Threat Intelligence strategy that aligns with the broader goals of the Cybersecurity department Monitor and analyze current and emerging cyber threat activity, trends, and indicators from a variety of reliable sources Conduct threat actor profiling, tracking, and attribution analysis Configure a Threat Intelligence platform to aggregate, curate, and export pertinent threat data for downstream consumption by SOAR and other systems Produce actionable intelligence reports for senior management and other internal threat data consumers Support Vulnerability Management, Application Security, and other relevant teams with relevant and timely Threat Intelligence data Collaborate with Incident Response team to ensure a coordinated response to security incidents, including investigating to determine the method, motive, timing, and nature of each compromise Utilize Threat Intelligence data to design and implement Tabletop Exercises that simulate plausible security crises with key stakeholders and incident responders Maintain relationships with external Threat intelligence Providers and industry peers Collaborate with Red Team Operators to plan and execute simulated TI-based cyber-attacks on the organization’s systems, networks, and applications Contribute to the development and improvement of threat intelligence processes, tools, and best practices Job Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence or a related field 2+ years experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security Proficient in threat intelligence tools, platforms, and sources, such as threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), SIEMs, OSINT, and dark web Strong knowledge of cyber threat landscape, actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&CK. CISSP, GCTI, CTIA, or other relevant certifications are preferred Experience with penetration testing or red teaming is a plus Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
