Overview: The Microsoft Azure Cloud Experiences Studio is seeking a motivated, creative, and customer-focused UX Researcher II. As a part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll directly influence and help create the next generation of cloud infrastructure and realize our goal of creating the World’s Computer. Cloud infrastructure is the foundation for everything Microsoft builds to empower customers worldwide. As a UX Researcher II, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to drive human-centered strategy and insights for core parts of the customer journey. You will plan, conduct, and analyze research across a wide range of methodologies to fill in knowledge gaps, prioritize inclusion, identify risks, and inform product decisions. Your qualitative and quantitative insights will help drive customer obsession across all stages of the product development process to achieve product outcomes that delight customers and meet organizational goals. Responsibilities: Creates and drives plans for research studies. Conducts discovery on research and other data sources that has already been done in order to inform the plan. Applies qualitative and quantitative research methods for effective research execution. Collaborates with other researchers on joint studies. Reviews and analyzes quantitative and/or qualitative data to draw conclusions. Applies statistical analyses to strengthen hypotheses to influence business decisions. Shares insights in a way that promotes emotional connections to customers and conveys real user stories that reveal customer insights. Creates a common understanding of usage, reaction, feedback, or needs for a defined feature area.
