Detailed Job Description:

This request is for a Microsoft .NET Web Developer III having experience and knowledge with systems analysis, multi-layered object-oriented design techniques, Microsoft Web applications architecture and development software to be responsible for designing, developing and supporting web applications in .NET, pertaining to Child Support programs in Wisconsin. This position will support new distributed web-based child support applications along with modifications to existing applications for federally mandated, state budget and administrative projects. In addition, this position will provide support for current child support applications including Child Support Online Services (CSOS) for participant financial and personal information; Lien Docket Web for Lien information; License Certification Web for occupational and recreational license information, and wiKIDS (and DocGen subsystem) for child support workers. Project duties will be to work as a .NET web developer and part of a team to develop and maintain child support applications in a Microsoft environment using web tools and techniques. Project duties will also include analysis, design, coding, testing, quality assurance, development of user documentation and training materials. This position includes providing on-call support. Priority will be given to candidates with application development experience related to state/federal programs.

Please note the qualifications for this position per the contract:

The senior level .NET Web Developer designs, develops, and implements web-based applications using .NET framework to support business requirements. Includes the use of related development technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE and supported programming languages (e.g. C#, C++, bootstrap) and scripting languages (e.g. TypeScript, JavaScript). Performs development of front-end and back-end development of web applications and web API’s (webservices). Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Requires a bachelor’s or associates degree in area of specialty or 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Can perform with no direct supervision, code is reviewed by team. Reviews junior developer’s code.
