Job Description A large financial services team is looking to hire a Data Engineer for their data services organization. This person will be responsible for working on a new platform project. Their day-to-day will consist of gathering requirements, design approaches and code artifacts. This person will be working with a team of data engineers but individually contributing to data analysis, data modeling, coding, and deployment. They will be using Pyspark to process large datasets and running python applications. The organization uses Redshift as their data warehousing service so this tool will be used in a large part of their day-to-day. The ability to work in a multi-project environment and multi-task is highly important for this role. This position is paying $60-65/hr and is a contract with the possibility of extension.
